In addition to our directory we let you the singer rate the brands and equipment, thus allowing other singers to make the right selection when they are searching for karaoke music.
What is Karaoke?
Literally the word karaoke translates to empty orchestra. The social phenomenon from Japan where fun loving, possibly intoxicated people embarrass themselves in public by singing along to a music track. Karaoke is very popular world wide, sales are estimated in the billions. Karaoke is Sometimes called Accompaniment Music or Accompany Music.
One of the more popular karaoke music formats is the karaoke music CDG. A karaoke music CDG is a compact disc with graphics, and words or lyrics that display on a TV or monitor if you are using a proper karaoke music CDG player. Karaoke Music CDG's can be played on a regular CD player, however, the graphics and lyrics will not display.
